This beautiful monastery is a serene reminder of the great history of Ayia Napa. Built in 1500 by the Venetians, it protects a cave in which an icon of the Virgin Mary was hidden during the iconoclasm of the 7th and 8th centuries. By the grace of the Virgin Mary, couples who are infertile and women who are experiencing difficulties during pregnancy, arrive at the monastery to pray for help.

Perched on the precipice of a cliff stands the magnificent church dedicated to Agioi Anargyroi. Dating back to the 1950s, this church is situated in Agia Napa at Cavo Greco. Legend has it that just below this location lies a cave where Saints Anargyros (Kostas and Damianos) once practiced. Within this cave resided an image or icon of Agioi Anargyroi, which eventually went missing. However, fate intervened when a passing fisherman, intrigued by the commotion, stumbled upon news of the lost icon. Upon learning of the situation, he offered the icon he had discovered at sea. Astonishingly, it turned out to be the very same one that had been lost. Hence, the decision was made to construct the church on the cliff's edge, both to pay homage to the saints and to provide a sanctuary for the revered icon.
