How To Get There

  • Ayia Napa central bus station by the monastery/central square is conveniently located only 3 minutes walk from our property. All the local regional bus lines, intercity buses and also a private airport shuttle bus firm use this bus stop.
  • The Famagusta District Transportation Organization (OSEA) operates all bus routes within the non-occupied Famagusta District as well as bus routes from the non-occupied Famagusta District to Larnaca and from Larnaca to the non-occupied Famagusta District.  The most useful bus lines during your stay to visit the main attractions of Ayia Napa from the central square bus stop are:
    • Bus 101. This bus line stops to Cape Greco (from there you can also walk to Sea Caves and Ayioi Anargiroi chappel), Konnos beach, Protaras and Paralimni.
    • Bus 102. You can use this bus line to go back to Ayia Napa center from the places mentioned above and also go to Nissi Beach, Waterworld Waterpark and Ayia Napa Marina.
This is the website of OSEA local and regional buses for more information about their bus routes: https://osea.com.cy/en/bus-routes/
  • Intercity buses operate routes from Ayia Napa central bus stop to most of the main cities of Cyprus like Larnaca, Nicosia and Paphos. This is the website of Cyprus Intercity Buses for more information about bus routes and timetables:https://intercity-buses.com/en/routes/
  • Airport transfer to and from Ayia Napa:
    • Larnaca Airport: There is currently only one bus firm (“Kapnos Airport Shuttle”) operating direct bus transfers from Larnaca Airport to Ayia Napa central bus stop (by the monastery/central square) and vice versa during the summer season months (usually from April/May until the end of November).  This is their website where you can check their routes, time schedules and also book online: https://kapnosairportshuttle.com/home
The other alternative bus option from Larnaca Airport to Ayia Napa and vice versa if direct transfer is not available is to take a local bus from Larnaca Airport to Larnaca city center (Foinikoudes) and from there catch an intercity bus to Ayia Napa. Car rental and taxi are the rest of your option to come from Larnaca Airport to Ayia Napa. Transfer to Ayia Napa from Larnaca Airport by car takes around 40 minutes.
    • Paphos Airport: As far as we are concerned there is currently no direct bus transport to Ayia Napa from Paphos airport. The only bus transport option is to take a local bus from Paphos Airport to Paphos city and then catch an intercity bus from Paphos city to Ayia Napa (with a stop to Larnaca) or book a private mini bus transfer if you are a group. There is only one intercity bus route per day from Paphos city to Ayia Napa at 16:00. Car rental or taxi are the only alternative transfer options. Transfer to Ayia Napa from Paphos Airport by car takes around 2 hours.
